Happy Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day
I had a wonderful mother's day weekend that actually started on Thursday when i picked up Parker from school and he greeted me with a big hug and a smile and of course a present which he insisted I open.( you don't have to tell me twice) He made me a card and a bunch of bath soaps. Friday night was mom's night out with my girlfriends where we shared are stories of our everyday lives as moms. Saturday Parker had his second t-ball game and pictures, after his game I met up with my sister Bree and the kids to say good-bye since they feel they have to go to Medford for the summer. On Sunday I got to sleep in and was awaken by Parker giving me another present and reading the card him and Preslie got me along with a gift certificate to get a much needed pedicure. We got dressed and headed up to the Lambert's house for the kids to play on the farm and Megan and I to enjoy some time away from the kids and our husbands and enjoy an adult conversation which we rarely get anymore. I got to take a nice nap and bubble bath to end my wonderful weekend. I feel so blessed to be a mom and be around so many wonderful other mothers. Happy Mother's day to all of you!

Parker's 1st Tball game & Preslie makes the paper (again)
Preslie (and I) made the local paper the Camas-Washougal Post Record while participating at the annual Easter egg hunt at Hathaway Park last weekend. This is her second time in the last year.
Today was Parker's 1st Tball game, he did so good. I love this age, they all go to the ball at the same time, tackle each other, play with flowers, run to their parents or family members, and most of all have fun and not worry about winning and losing. Dustin is also coaching the team so it's a family affair since I have to help coach with Dustin and keep the kids in order while it's our turn to bat. I think Dustin was more nervous than Parker. Parker did really good he was the only one who wasn't picking flowers or tackling his teammates, he also got to play catcher, check out his gear. We can't wait for the rest of the season.

Well Child Check-Ups
This is what they looked like after a several shots each
Well Child Checks
Today I took the kids in for their well child checks, Preslie 18 month & Parker for his 4 year. Here are a couple of pictures and updates on the kids.
18 months
She is growing up too fast. She loves to eat ALL THE TIME and play with her brother "Bubba". She has shown some interest in the potty over the last couple of days but no pressure since she still is really little but she did go#2 today. YAY! Her vocabulary changes on a daily basis her new word of the week is "ME". Her favorite things are her baby dolls, Barbies, baths, music and her zebra boots (we have several pairs) She is definately a girl! She knows what she wants and will tell you when she wants it. Parker is such a good big brother and helper to me and Dustin. He is so kind and gentle and willing to help, at least right know. He still loves Pre-school and is looking forward to starting T-Ball in a couple of weeks and having Daddy as his coach. He is a very smart little boy and has figured out how to purchase games on my iphone, I barley know how to use it. He has been using interesting words as well. He like to say things like "awkward" and "seriously" I think he is watching to much icarly and suite life on deck.
Parker is in the 75% for his height & weight and healthy as can be
Preslie is 5% for her weight & 75% for her height
After we went to the doctor and got a clean bill of health we went to jantzen beach and rode on the carousel and had lunch before taking Parker to pre-school

While Nana Tinkerbell as my kids call her was visiting she insisted we make stepping stones for her house, the kids loved it. Thanks again mom for all your help, We miss you already !

Newport Seafood & Winefest Weekend 2011
Saturday Night
This past weekend was the Newport Seafood & Winfest, after a couple years off Dustin & I decided we needed a weekend away with NO KIDS! Our friends Megan & Travis joined us as well as Dustin's cousin Amanda her husband Eron & her brother Brad and his girlfriend Whitney. Fun was had by all as you can tell from the pictures which apparently I only took on one day. The weather was awesome considering when we left Portland it was snowing and cold. Lots of memories were made and we look forward to next year!

Busy Weekend
Another busy weekend at the Castellani household. On Friday my friends Megan, Amber & I took the kids to OMSI. The kids loved it and had a great time I haven't been there since I was in middle school so it was fun for me too. Friday night Megan and I worked on our invitations for our ten year high school reunion coming up this summer. The kids played and watched cartoons so we could work. Saturday morning I woke up around 4am feeling terrible with a high fever and horrible cough but it didn't stop us from having 18+ people over to have Preslie and her cousin Josey baptized. Pastor Kim who officiated our wedding was kind enough to come to our house and preform the baptism. Here are a couple of pictures from the weekend.

P A R K E R & MISS PRESLIE
Lately we've been extremely busy and haven't posted in a while. Between work, planning my ten year high school reunion and everyone being sick a week at a time I've been a little lazy with my posts. This kids are growing up way too fast. Preslie's hair is getting longer and becoming quite curly and Parker has been working on his name at school. All he wants to do when he gets home is show me how good he is getting. We still have work to do but he's getting pretty good at it as you can tell. Only a couple more weeks until Dustin & I are heading to the beach for the Newport Seafood & Wine fest. Parker is having his Valentine party at school tomorrow and Preslie is getting christend on saturday with her cousin Josey so look forward to those pics soon! * CHEESE*

So this past weekend my sister Bree and I took our kids and headed to Pullman to suprise my mom for her birthday. It was totally unplanned a huge suprise for my mom. We got in late thursday night and hung out until sunday early morning. We went to cougar country, checked out where grandpa joe worked, played xbox kinects, made popcorn, watched movies, and headed to the library where my mom is the branch manager and does an amazing storytime. While we were there I also found stuff my mom had taken from my house assuming i would never visit and she could keep from me, boy was she WRONG. I think i found most of it and took a couple of things from her too! KARMA. We made it a memoriable birthday for my mom and as the boys said in the car "nana you live to far away" (parker) "I just can't take it " (Brayden) Maybe one of these days she will move closer and we can be with her all the time. Happy Birthday Mom ~ We Love you!
