Christmas with Grandma & Grandpa Thompson

This year for Christmas my mom and step dad Joe came to visit. We usually do stuff with Dustin's family every year but this year since my mom was unable to make it to Medford for thanksgiving i offered for her to come for Christmas since we have been so busy and i wanted to have a low key Christmas at home and of course she said YES!! Here are some pictures from the weekend. On Christmas eve we ordered pizza and then headed out to PIR to look at Christmas lights. On the way home we hit a couple other houses in the area that are pretty neat. On Christmas day we woke up around 9 opened presents and then had dinner with Dustin's step-mom Katie and her son Danny and his kids. Unfortunately Grandpa Kevin couldn't come because he was feeling under the weather but we still had a nice day. We all ate way too much and the kids were spoiled rotten. I feel very blessed that the kids are loved so much by all their grandparent and they were here to help us celebrate this year.

It's begininng to look alot like Christmas

On Friday afternoon my boss brought over some old school Christmas lights that her sister wanted to get rid of and of course I offered to take them off her hands and save us like $75. Once the kids saw the lights Parker instantly wanted to start decorating. Luckily it was nice on Friday and Dustin got home early and started to hung up the lights on the house. We usually wait until after my birthday to decorate for Christmas but the kids where so excited i couldn't tell them NO! It was so fun spending time as a family decorating for my favorite time of year and making memories with my kids.

Thanksgiving Vacation

This past week the kids and I got to fly to Medford on Tuesday with Uncle Ty to have Thanksgiving with my Family. Dustin met us down in Medford on Wednesday after work and we spent the rest of the week with my family, which hasn't happend since before we had Parker. On Wednesday I hung out with my sisters so all the kids could play and hang out. We decided to load up the car and head to the mall where we ended up getting a picture with Santa. Since Parker and Brayden were the only ones who felt comfortable with Santa we all had to get in the picture. Thursday Turkey Day my grandma cooked dinner and brought it over to the Georges where we all ate way too much food. I headed to bed around 8 and was awakened by a phone call that said "let's pull an all-nighter" I needed to go to toysrus so I thought why not. The plan was for me and Bree to go to toysrus and then walmart and head home for a couple hours of sleep then head back out but before we knew it is was 6 am. We had so much fun,I began to feel a little crazy and couldn't stop laughing. I spend the rest of Friday being lazy. Saturday it really hit me and didn't want to do anything, but I couldn't sleep anymore since Tyson,John and Dustin headed to Vegas for the day so Tori and I were stuck with crabby kids. I had a great time with my family and feel very blessed for everything and everyone in my life.
Happy Thanksgiving To All

Parker's 4th Birthday Party At JJ Jump

Posted by Picasa

This year Parker wanted to celebrate his 4th Birthday at JJ Jump. He invited all his friends and family to join us. My Sister Tori and her family suprised us and showed up to his party. No one ever suprises me, thanks to everyone who knew and kept it a secret. Thanks to Tori and Ty who made the trip up here to help celebrate, it meant alot to me and Parker to have all his cousins at his party. Here are a couple of pictures that I took, as you can see the adults had just as much fun as the kids. Parker still has two more parties which he will celebrate on his actual birthday (Novemeber 16th) one with family and one at preschool. Thanks to everyone who came and helped celebrate Parker's 4th Birthday.

wind, leaves and illnesses

This past week wasn't a pleasant one at the Castellani household. We all had a touch of the stomach flu. I missed work on wed and part of Thursday and spent Saturday morning in the ER with Dustin. He got the worst of it, he has pneumonia along with the stomach flu. At the beginning of the week we had sunny skies but powerful wind that knocked all the leaves off the trees. With help from the kids we got most of them picked up. Hopefully next week will be better since we will begin the celebration of Parkers 4Th birthday.

We meet some friends ahead of time and stopped by my work where the kids each got a bag of goodies. All the kids had a blast and ate way too much candy. I'm exhausted and hope the kids come off their sugar high soon! 4 more days untiL Halloween!

Harvest Festival

This past weekend we were busy , busy , busy! Parker had his last soccer game.It was sad to see his season come to an end but it will be nice to get our friday and saturdays back, at least until softball starts in the spring. Dustin and I played in the great pumpkin softball tournament out at prairie field. I went as an 80's workout girl and Dustin went as a redneck. It was a blast and a muddy mess! I left my camera so I will post those pictures later. On saturday night we took the kids to the harvest festival at liberty middle school down the street which the camas parks and rec puts on every year. The kids get to dress-up in their costumes and play games and enjoy the bounce house. Here are a couple of pictures of the kids in their costumes. We have another busy week ahead.

a month of milestones

September has been a big month for us
Parker started pre-school as well as soccer, yes all in one week(what was i thinking)
He is going to little lamb and is in the 3year class this year. He absolutley loves it. Dustin actually went there when he was little so I think he thinks that's pretty cool to be going to the same school as Daddy. We signed him up for soccer in vancouver with the parks & rec he gets to play with his friend dannica. The 1st game he was all about the cute 16 year old blonde referee but we bribed him with yo cream last week and he scored 2 goals. (whatever works right?)
As for Preslie she celebrated her 1st Birthday this past weekend, We've actually be celebrating it all month with the 2 parties over labor day weekend with my family and one last sunday with Dustin's family and our friends. She has been slowly walking around the house and is starting to get the hang of it. She gets so excited and ends up falling.
Dustin and I celebrated our 6th wedding annivesary last friday the 17th with a nice dinner out thanks to my sister for watching the kids.
Keep posted for the videos of Parker playing soccer and Preslie walking
Take Care
