Parker & Mom in the suite
This past Monday Dustin, Parker, my brother in law Mike and I all got the chance to go to the WWE Monday Night Raw at the RoseGarden. A good friend of mine works for the Portland Trailblazers ticket office and was looking for seat fillers since this event was televised. I offered for Dustin and I to do and and mentioned that Parker was going to be jealous. I asked her if tickets were still available for purchase thinking i could buy 2 tickets and have someone take Parker. A couple minutes later she called and said she got two tickets in a suite for Parker and a guest. After a couple phone calls and emails, we decided that I go with Parker and Dustin and Mike got to be the seat fillers. I think Dustin and Mike moved once other then that they got to sit 12th row behind the ring. Parker and I were in suite with two other people a daughter and her father, then toward the end of the evening when the ROCK came out in walks Chrisk Dudley (a former Trailblazer and his kids. I knew who he was but was too scared to ask for his autograph but still managed to sneak a picture. He was extremly nice and kept asking Parker all kinds of questions. I had a blast , I know Im a dork but Parker and I had a great time. It was nice to do something just as mother and son. After it was over we went and met up with Dustin and headed home to get Preslie and tell her all the exciting things. All she said was"you not on TV guys"

Beach Getaway

This past weekend we headed down to Lincoln City, Newport and Tillamook for fun. Dustin & I got a gift certificate to Seiltz Bay Lodge which we were suppose to use as a weekend getaway with NO kids but we figured we would spend most of our time saying oh the kids would this. So we decided to bring them along. I called last minute and the gal gave me the only room left which was a King Spa room, which included a jacuzzi tub in our room. The kids LOVED it i think they spent at least two hours in it the first night. We went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, showed the kids where we stay when we go to the wine festival and walked around downtown newport. There favorite part besides the aquaruim was going to the candy store and picking out salt water taffy. Later that night after we got settled into our room we walked on the beach for a while and then headed to the arcade at Elenor's which is across the street from the hotel and Mo's resturaunt. We had ice cream and played games then headed to the outlet store to pick up Parker some baseball cleats. We had dinner at M0's where Parker tried clam chowder and loved it, along with fish and chips. Preslie not a fan of either lol. When then headed back to our room let the kids play in the jacuzzi and then headed to bed around 9. (man were getting old!) The next day we woke up and ate breakfast at the hotel where Parker enjoyed making his own waffles. We played in the tub again and headed home the LONG way through tillamook. We stopped at the cheese factory did the self guided tour and had some ice cream before we left. A the way home the kids kept talking about all the fun they had and how they want to go back again. It was nice to getaway as a family and we made some wonderful memories.

Dress-Up

So we all know that Preslie doesn't like her picture taken so here is the best I can get of her playing dress-up today in her princess dresses her cousin Olivia passed down to her. Gymnastics went as good as pictures at JC Penny's, maybe we will try it again next year. She's bashful just like her daddy!

2nd tooth on 2/2 & 1st Basketball game

Parker lost his 2ND tooth in a week, it just so happens that it was on the morning of February 2ND. Parker also started basketball , here is a couple of pictures from his first game He did so good, I couldn't be prouder. Preslie will start gymnastics on Friday with her friend Sunni, so between Parker's sports class Wednesday nights, basketball practice on Thursday and Parker's games on Friday nights we will be busy. Let the craziness begin!

Parker loses his 1st tooth

Last Monday Parker came running out of class saying "Mom I have a loose tooth" He couldn't wait to show me. I kept asking did you get hit in the mouth? Did you fall and hit your chin on something? How could he possible have a loose tooth? I wanted to cry my baby boy is growing up too fast. First it was pre-school, then a tooth next he will be graduating college and getting married. I might be getting ahead of myself lol. After school I dropped him off at home with daddy since he got off early. Later that night we went to see Dustin's mom to get some presents that she bought the kids and realized his tooth had come in behind the loose one and the two bottom teeth were loose. Over the next couple of days he was constantly be playing with it showing me how loose it was getting. I tried every bribe I could think of to try and get him to just let me pull it. We must have watched the video on you tube where the kids shoots a rocket with hit tooth attached to the screen 15 times. On Friday the Lambert's came over to visit and around 10:30 I asked him to show me how loose it was and he pulled away as my finger felt his tooth and fell into my hands. Here is a picture right after he lost it, what he got from the tooth fairy and him hugging his friend Lane.

Another Catch Up

So as you can tell we've been extremely busy the last couple of months. We celebrated Parker's 5th birthday, hosted Thanksgiving, had several christmas parties to attend and traveled to Medford for christmas. Did I mention all while my mother-in-law was living with us. Wow I'm exhausted just reliving all that. My goal is to get back to posting at least once a month if not more but we will just have to see.
Parker turned 5 years old in November and had a great monster party at home will all his friends from school and his cousins. He is doing great in school and has made some great friends Titan & Hudson, they're like the three amigos. His teacher said to me the other day that I'm in trouble, "Parker always tells me what I want to hear" This was while his was walking into class with a girl on each side of him. His is busy boy who will be starting a sports class this Wednesday and basketball on Fridays , so our schedule just got busier but I've got to do something with all his energy.
Preslie is doing well and SASSY as ever. She is talking more and more everyday and repeats everything we say. She has been doing really good on potty training. Only one accident and sleeps without diapers. No more diapers for us!!! Along with no more diapers we have no more bottles as well, still insists she needs her pluggy though. Two out of three isn't bad right? She loves music and walks around the house singing either "twinkle twinkle little star" or "I'm sexy and i know it" Her personality is definately coming through and changing from a baby to a big girl.
As for Dustin and I we are busy working living the dream. We are looking forward to a weekend kids free at the beach soon. I signed up a team for the Shamrock Run in portland so I will be busy trainging for my 1st 5k. It may not seem like a big deal but for me it is. I want to to at least two before I turn 30!! That gives me less than 11 months.
Here's what we've been up too
