Super hero obsession

The last couple of weeks all Preslie has wanted to wear is Parker's super hero clothing. She even found his batman/superman cape Aunt Tori made for him.  Hopefully this is just a phase and we will be back to Tutus and dresses in no time. Did I mention she doesn't like to wear pants around the house either. As soon as she gets home shes in her undies.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful men in our lives. This year we kept it low key and went to Red Lobster on Saturday night to celebrate fathers day. Sunday the kids and I went and got doughnuts and chocolate milk then went to visit Grandpa Kevin. We went for an afternoon bike ride the relaxed for the rest of the day. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband who is the best dad a child could ask for. I love you and am proud to call you my babies daddy!

Teddy Bear

Preslie found my teddy bear from when I was little that my mom had given to me to get her 2 year old pictures with. She hated it at the time but has grown to love it.

The Other Child

I was reading through the last couple post on our blog and realized that everything has been about Parker lately. As most of you know she's very shy and not really into much yet but she still is very much apart of the family. She is talking non-stop (only around the people she knows), she loves Justin Bieber, Dolls, Shoes, Popsicles, Dustin's old cell phone which she uses to call JB on his cell while he's on his way to his concerts ( her words not mine) She is growing like a weed, a no longer has a binkie!!! She hates to wear jeans and dresses and doesn't like me to do her hair. She is a very strong young lady and knows what she wants, let's just say I'm not worried about her at all. She still doesn't like her picture taken much but here's a couple that I managed to get of her over the last couple of months
She's been watching alot of baseball lately so has begun to love the game herself
She looks like Chrissy from Three's Company in this picture

She loves to dig in the sand and dirt

She is like her Aunt Tori and likes to organize things and "Loves" shoes

Dodger's Last Game of the Season

Last Monday night was Parker's last Tball game of the season. He had fun, made alot of new friends and realized he's ready for coach pitch next year! It was a great season, the parents were the best parents always helped and volunteered when we needed and were very appreciative of Dustin's patience, knowledge and love of the game. I'm looking forward to no more Wednesday night practices and a nice dinner to Red Lobster courtesy of the team parents.

Parker's Pre-School Graduation

Thursday was Parker's Pre-School Graduation. He had all sorts of family there to support him. Along with Dustin, Preslie & I , Grandpa& Grandma Castellani came along with Tami, Stan & Tj  and much to Parker's surprise Monica & Monte made it too. They sang a couple of songs, had a slide show then presented his diploma. Parker has made alot of friend and memories over the past two years at Little Lamb. Next year he will be the only one in his class attending Camas so he will have to make all new friends. I can't believe our little man is growing up so fast.

Kindergarten Orientation

Parker had kindergarten orientation on the 16th of May. Hard to believe that he's going to be in elementary school next year, seems like I was just bringing him home from the hospital. We walked across the street to Helen Baller  and were greeted by the principal Mr.Parman and members of the PTA who asked Parker to make a name tag and head to the library where we would meet his future classmates. Once we got in the library he had his picture taken and then was taken by the two kindergarten teachers Mrs. Webb & Mrs. Michener to shadow a kindergartner. The parents stayed in the library where we were given all the information we need to make this experience a good one. After several introductions and other nervous parents asking the same questions I had we got to meet up with our kids and watch them get on the school bus. Parker won't get to ride it since we live across the street so he had a good time. They went around the block where I'm told he shouted to everyone on the bus "That's my house"!!  Later that day he was playing out back and the neighbors grandchild Kailey who is  8 were talking through the fence. She ran inside and got a piece of paper handed it to Parker and said call me sometime. Oh dear I'm not ready for this at all :(
