a month of milestones

September has been a big month for us
Parker started pre-school as well as soccer, yes all in one week(what was i thinking)
He is going to little lamb and is in the 3year class this year. He absolutley loves it. Dustin actually went there when he was little so I think he thinks that's pretty cool to be going to the same school as Daddy. We signed him up for soccer in vancouver with the parks & rec he gets to play with his friend dannica. The 1st game he was all about the cute 16 year old blonde referee but we bribed him with yo cream last week and he scored 2 goals. (whatever works right?)
As for Preslie she celebrated her 1st Birthday this past weekend, We've actually be celebrating it all month with the 2 parties over labor day weekend with my family and one last sunday with Dustin's family and our friends. She has been slowly walking around the house and is starting to get the hang of it. She gets so excited and ends up falling.
Dustin and I celebrated our 6th wedding annivesary last friday the 17th with a nice dinner out thanks to my sister for watching the kids.

Preslie takes 1st place at the Pretty Baby Contest at the Clark County Fair

Last weekend we headed out to the clark county fair's annual pretty baby contest. We took Parker when he was 9 months and he ended up getting 3rd place so we thought it would be fun to take Preslie. My sister Tori was visiting with her family so they joined us.(They were here too when Parker was it in so she might just be our good luck charm) Preslie and her best friend Sunni along with Preslie's cousin Kendra all where there and competed in the 10-14 month age group. There were so many cute babies there with all sorts of outfits and costumes. When they started to annouce names for her age group the called Ramon who had curly brown hair and a tuxedo on for 3rd place, then they called Sunni's name for 2nd place and I remembering hearing the name "Preslie" and being so excited that she even placed, let alone 1st. All the winners gathered on stage and then the fair court picked the winner which happend to be Sunni. Here are a couple of articles from the paper and the ribbons she won. I didn't have my camera but Megan got alot of pictures of the girls together which i will have to post later.
