Camas Days

Camas Days is a busy weekend for us, the kids are usually in the parade Friday , we go to the bug parade as a family on Saturday and then Dustin plays softball all weekend in the Camas Days Men's Softball tournament. This year was a little different the kids were gone during the beginning of the week so we didn't get a chance to work on the parade stuff so a bunch a girls from work all got together and went downtown and watched the parade instead. It was so much fun to get together outside of work and let our kids play. Dustin's 1st softball game was Friday night which was over in 43 minutes, record timing i think but they won!! Saturday we got to go to the parade and see the different floats and animals then the rest of the day was softball. My friend and co-worker Megan helped me serve beer down at the beer garden which was so much fun. Great for people watching and meeting friends you see once a year, lol!  Sunday was followed by more softball. The boys did great and ended up getting 4th which was awesome considering their competition.

We started the celebration early by attending the Bucks annual BBQ on the 3rd. The kids played hard and then enjoyed the fireworks. Dustin had to work on the in the morning so I took the kids and headed to The Lamberts Farm as the kids call it.  They have a parade and carnival  at the fire station. Our friends have 3 mini horses which the kids got to ride in the parade. Preslie wasn't a fan of the animals so she and Lane rode in the wagon. After the parade the kids played a few carnival games and then we headed home to see Daddy. We had a little family BBQ and then watched the fireworks from the Port and headed to bed since we had to work the next day. Happy 4th and Happy Anniversary to the Lamberts!
